Alabama reportedly checked in on Carson Beck before he signed with Miami

Late last week, the Miami Hurricanes made countless headlines after it was announced that standout quarterback Carson Beck was signing with the ACC powerhouse. Beck will take over the offense for Cam Ward, who is headed to the NFL Draft.
As it turns out, though, Miami landing Beck wasn't easy. According to reporter Matt Hayes, Georgia asked Beck to return to Athens even after he entered the portal. Not only that, but Alabama also reached out to try and recruit him.
REPORT: Georgia wanted Carson Beck to return for the 2025 season after entering the Transfer Portal, per @MattHayesCFB.

Despite Alabama and Georgia working to turn Beck's head, his mind was made up and he wanted to make his way to Coral Gables - Beck signed with Miami one day after entering the portal. He'll now look to make a statement with Miami and help this team get to the College Football Playoff in 2025.
