Brian Daboll plans to stick with Daniel Jones as his starting quarterback
Through seven games in 2024, the NY Giants have once again been a total disappointment. Despite posting memorable wins on the road against Cleveland and Seattle, the G-Men are 2-5 on the year and Daniel Jones isn't getting the job done.
In the loss to the Eagles over the weekend, Jones was benched early on in the fourth quarter - things didn't go much better for veteran Drew Lock. After the loss, Brian Daboll said Jones remains his starter, which is a call fans aren't loving:
All signs are pointing to Jones being released next offseason. There was hope he'd turn his career around, but that's not happening. Daboll and the Giants may stick with him as QB1 for now, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see him benched full time in the near future.
