The NFL trade deadline has come and gone and there were some major moves made. Arguably none bigger than the New Orleans Saints sending veteran cornerback Marshon Lattimore to the Washington Commanders.

The Commanders are in first place in the NFC East and they're loaded with young talent. Adding a primetime player like Lattimore to their defense is a great move for the front office, and it sends a message to the Giants, Cowboys and Eagles.

Following the road win against the Giants on Sunday, the Commanders are 7-2 on the year. Who thought they'd be this good early on with quarterback Jayden Daniels running the offense? This team is poised to win the division title and adding Lattimore is only going to help them make an even stronger push.
