Dan Ashworth shockingly out as Manchester United sporting director

Manchester United is a complete and total mess. On Saturday, MUFC hosted Nottingham Forest in a game they were supposed to come out on top of, but that didn't happen. Instead, Forest dominated play in the second half and posted a 3-2 win.

Things have gone from bad to worse for INEOS, with its takeover of the club not going according to plan. Now, even more stunning news has arrived. Sports Director Dan Ashworth has left the team, MUFC confirmed on Sunday.

United went all-in to land Ashworth from Newcastle United, but he's already on his way out after five months in town? It doesn't make sense. United is nowhere close to the Top 4, which no one expected at this point of the season. It's been a rough campaign for them, again.
