DeAndre Hopkins traded by Titans to the Kansas City Chiefs
With the Kansas City Chiefs so banged up at wide receiver, you had a feeling Brett Veach was going to make a splash move ahead of the trade deadline. That move came on Wednesday, with Kansas City making plenty of headlines. Why? Because they've added DeAndre Hopkins.
The All-Pro wideout hasn't been happy with the Titans, as things are a mess for the AFC South side. So, he's gone from a team in last place of their division and catching balls from Will Levis, to joining the Super Bowl favorites and now catching balls from Patrick Mahomes? Sheesh.
With Rashee Rice and Hollywood Brown suffering their serious injuries early in the campaign, the Chiefs simply had to get something done. Hopkins may not be in the prime of his career anymore, but he will still be able to make a huge difference for this offense and Mahomes.
