Door being left wide open for Marcus Rashford to keep playing for Manchester United
It has now been over a month since Manchester United star Marcus Rashford suited up for the Red Devils. With rumors and reports flying all over the place, he's essentially been a ghost for the team. However, could he end up staying to close out the season?
Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund have shown interest, but talks haven't progressed. In a new report from The Athletic's David Ornstein, he said that Rashford is not only open to returning to play for United this season, but that he's training with the first team as well:
Rashford has meant so much to the club in recent years, but fans have been upset with his level of play declining. He's on a massive contract with United, which runs through 2028. United could look to loan him out, but it will depend on if a different team is willing to take on a big part of his wages. Hopefully soon, there's a resolution here.
