It's over between Manchester United and Erik Ten Hag. Late last season, it seemed as though he was going to be out of a job, but the win over Manchester City in the FA Cup Final saved his career in the English Premier League.

After a busy summer, the hope was that Ten Hag would be able to lift this team to contention for a title. However, at this point in the season, United sits in 14th place of the Premier League table with 11 points. That's why Monday's news of the manager being fired comes as no surprise:

On Sunday, MUFC suffered a 2-1 loss to West Ham United. They had chances to score several goals, but the players blew it. In the end, it was the final straw and the club is now in need of someone else to lead the group. A change was needed from the board, no doubt.
