Jaelan Phillips undergoes successful surgery on torn ACL
You've got to feel for Miami Dolphins pass-rusher Jaelan Phillips. Last season, he suffered a torn Achilles at MetLife Stadium. After working his tail off in his rehab, he then tore his ACL early on this year against the Titans.
No. 15 is no stranger to injury adversity, but he's already focused on working his way back for 2025. This week, Phillips announced that he underwent successful surgery and he's now focused on getting to work in his recovery:
Phillips was somehow able to get back on the field for Week 1 this year, but his campaign didn't last long. Injuries have been a nightmare for Miami in 2024, including Phillips' knee issue and Tua Tagovailoa suffering a concussion. Tua will hopefully return Week 8, but we won't be seeing Phillips in action again until next season.
