James Tarkowski was the hero for Everton in dramatic draw vs. Liverpool

For the last Merseyside Derby between Everton and Liverpool FC at Goodison Park, you knew there was going to be plenty of drama. Late in the action, it looked like LFC was going to post a thrilling win thanks to a second-half goal from Mo Salah.
However, James Tarkowski had other ideas in mind. In stoppage time, with Liverpool clinging to a 2-1 lead, the veteran playmaker fired a rocket into the back of the net. As you might have been able to guess, the home end went wild with its celebrations:

The definition of scenes surely is one way to put it. Can you blame Everton fans for having that reaction, though? Goodison Park is set to be demolished following this season. The historic stadium has meant so much for Everton, including the rivalry with Liverpool.
Seeing LFC win the last matchup between the two at Goodison would have been a nightmare for everyone in Blue. Thankfully, however, Tarkowski was there to save the day with a goal that he's going to cherish for quite some time. It hasn't been a great season for Everton as a whole, but that draw will surely be among the top highlights for them once the campaign comes to a close.
