Juan Soto thanks Yankees fans for the memories after signing with Mets
Juan Soto is staying in New York, but on the other side of town. That's right, instead of playing his home games in the Bronx, Soto is gonna have to take the 7 train to Flushing, Queens. In a bit of a stunner, Soto signed with the Mets instead of returning to the Yankees.
It's a move that plenty of Yankees fans are furious about, as they feel like Soto has turned his back on them. That's not the case, though. While Soto loved his time with the Yankees, he took the better offer. While making things official with the Mets too, he decided to send Yankees Nation some love:

Those were some kind words from Soto, but it's probably not going to calm many people down who are upset about his decision. At the end of the day, he decided his future needs to be in Queens with the Mets, who gave him 765 million reasons to put the pen to paper.
