Talk about living the dream at the Bernabeu. On Wednesday night, Real Madrid hosted Manchester City in the second leg of their Champions League matchup. After Madrid took down City at the Etihad, the pressure was on for Pep Guardiola and Co. to try and bounce back.

They didn't do that, though. Nope, not even close. Kylian Mbappe was unstoppable in this one, posting his first hat-trick for Los Blancos. Real Madrid went on to win 3-1. This came after RM won 3-2 in the first leg. With these results, Man City has officially been sent home from the Champions League.

This was a statement game for Mbappe. Some early-season struggles led to people calling him overrated. In addition, haters claimed that Real Madrid wasted way too much money in getting him to Spain. Those same doubters are now eating humble pie, as Mbappe was brilliant with the rest of the world watching him vs. City.
