What he was able to get done with the Miami Hurricanes in 2024 was downright historic and now, quarterback Cam Ward is in the hunt to be taken with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Yup, he was that good.

The good news for Ward too is that he has received plenty of offseason honors, with the list growing this week. On Wednesday, Ward was officially named the Manning Award Winner, given to the top quarterback in the country:

This past season for the Canes, Ward, who transferred in from Washington State, tossed for 4,313 yards, 39 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Thanks to his brilliant play, Miami was must-see television. While his season didn't end with a trip to the CFP, Ward is now ready to make plenty of noise in the NFL.
