No. 1 Tennessee MBB cruises past Miami at Madison Square Garden

The season to remember just keeps on getting better for Rick Barnes and the Tennessee Volunteers. On Tuesday, the Vols took on the Miami Hurricanes at the iconic Madison Square Garden, looking to send a statement to back their No. 1 billing.
They did just that, posting a pretty simple 75-62 victory at MSG. Chaz Lanier, who is looking like an SEC Player of the Year candidate, led the way with his 22 points.
Another NYC victory!

Some people thought it might be a down year for the Vols, especially after Dalton Knecht made his way to the LA Lakers. However, this team continues to impress and Barnes has his guys playing at a high level.
On top of that, Lanier and Co. are playing with a ton of confidence. Next up is a showdown with Illinois, which just beat No. 20 Wisconsin on Tuesday night.
