What a mess for Big Blue.

The NY Giants have been getting blasted for years now with how they've handled the Daniel Jones situation. Jones, a former No. 6 overall pick, landed a $160 million deal after helping the team reach the postseason in 2022.

However, he was brutal last year before tearing his ACL. This season, he had the Giants at 2-8 before Brian Daboll finally announced earlier this week he'd be hitting the bench. Well, now the Giants are done with Jones fully, as it was announced this morning he's been released:

Jones is expected to clear waivers and then sign with any team he wants. Things have been brutal for the Giants the past two seasons and Jones no question played a big role in the offense struggling. Now, the G-Men will rock with Tommy DeVito as their starter and Jones will be looking for a new place to call home.
