When Bryce Harper inked his mega deal with the Philadelphia Phillies, he was probably expecting to be playing baseball on his birthday. Instead, the now-27-year-old slugger is at home on the couch, and to make things worse, his former team is preparing for their first trip to the World Series.
Well, as the internet often does, Twitter had a laugh at Harper's expense. Sorry Bryce, even your birthday won't protect you from the wrath of social media.
