The future of professional baseball will be determined Monday night when the 2019 MLB Draft gets underway from the MLB Network Studios. The Orioles will have the first selection in the draft, as they look to speed up their rebuild and select their future franchise player.

The Orioles, Royals and White Sox round out the first three picks of the draft, with all three teams excited to pick from the top-notch talent that is available in this draft class.
Adley Rutschman, a catcher from Oregon State, is the projected No. 1 pick, but high school phenom Bobby Whitt Jr. could also be taken atop the draft board.

This year is a heavy position player class, with most of the top prospects being from the college ranks. It has a different feel from years past.
