3 Free Agents the Browns Could Still Sign
By Michael Luciano
The Cleveland Browns made a mammoth offseason splash, swinging a trade for Odell Beckham while conducting a solid draft headlined by LSU corner Greedy Williams in the second round. However, they still have some holes on the offensive and defensive lines, as well as in the secondary, that could be filled by some veterans still looking for work.
3. OT Ryan Schraeder
Matt Ryan's right tackle on the Falcons team that went to the Super Bowl, Schraeder was released by Atlanta after six seasons. Do you trust former No. 2 overall pick and abject bust Greg Robinson and Chris Hubbard to keep Baker Mayfield clean in the pocket? Didn't think so. Schraeder provides a low-floor starter or excellent veteran depth.
2. DB Tre Boston
With plans to convert fourth-round pick Sheldrick Redwine into a do-it-all DB who plays everywhere and the aging Morgan Burnett starting, there is a hole in their secondary. A physical hitter, tone setter, and masterful zone safety, Boston starred for Steve Wilks' defense in Carolina and would fit in seamlessly in Cleveland.
1. DT Ndamukong Suh
With rumors that the Browns are going hard after Tampa Bay Buccaneers lineman Gerald McCoy, why not get an equal player at a discounted price? Suh showed last year with the Rams that he can anchor a defensive line on a Super Bowl team. Imagine he and Myles Garrett lining up on the same line.
