3 Free Agents the Seahawks Need to Sign to Get Back to the Super Bowl
By Michael Luciano

The Seattle Seahawks might have been one yard away from a No. 1 overall seed this season, but even a cursory examination of their film showed that Russell Wilson was bailing this team out on a weekly basis. They have their quarterback situation set and plenty of playmakers at wide receiver, but this team still need a few more additions via free agency or the draft in order to solidify themselves as Super Bowl contenders. These three free agents look like perfect fits for Seattle's schemes.
3. Connor McGovern
Center Justin Britt was lost for the season in the middle of the year, which led to Joey Hunt taking most of the snaps at the position. Hunt might be a nice guy, but he was rancid down the stretch. McGovern started all 16 games for the Denver Broncos, allowing just one sack all season. With experience at guard and center, McGovern would instantly be the best interior lineman on the Seahawks roster, and he will only be 27 years old next year.
2. James Bradberry
Bradberry is going to take some chances as a corner, but his 6-1, 215 pound frame and three interceptions are indicative of the type of cornerback Pete Carroll and DC Ken Norton Jr. want on their team. Bradberry is likely to get a substantial offer from the Carolina Panthers, but Seattle should match whatever price Carolina sets for him, as he and Shaquill Griffin would make for a tremendous 1-2 punch in the defensive backfield.
1. Matthew Judon
If the Seahawks don't re-sign Jadeveon Clowney, they will need to find some pass rusher that they van pay top dollar for in free agency. The 261-pound Judon fits a 4-3 scheme better than the likes of Yannick Ngakoue, while the Pro Bowler's 9.5 sacks on a loaded Baltimore Ravens defense at age 27 shows that his best football is ahead of him. Clowney should be priority No. 1 for Seattle because of how he stops the run, but if he leaves, they should get Judon's agent on the phone.
