Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson suffered a broken ring finger during practice, and his status is up in the air for the team's season opener against the Washington Redskins. If the speedy receiver has to miss some time, here are three options the Eagles should look at to add depth to an already talented room.

1. Mike Wallace

The former Steelers' Pro Bowler signed with the Eagles last offseason, and played in two games before being placed on Injured Reserve in mid-September. Wallace could be an option for the Birds to fill a similar role to that of Jackson's. Wallace is familiar with the playbook, and can provide the deep threat the team will desperately need if Jackson misses any amount of time. He could prove worthwhile if the team opts to bring him back.

2. Josh Doctson

While Josh Doctson is not yet a free agent, the Redskins have made clear their plans to move on from the former first-round pick. The Eagles could scoop a former top pick for next to nothing, whether they strike a trade for the former TCU star or sign him following his release from Washington. Regardless, considering he wouldn't be a top option in the offense, taking a shot on Doctson's upside couldn't hurt.

3. Kevin White

White is a former first-round pick who sold the Chicago Bears on his incredible speed. Unfortunately, injuries have derailed his career to this point, making it hard for him to stick on a roster. The Eagles should take a shot on White, who provides a similar skillset to that of Jackson, albeit the JV version. Philadelphia really has nothing to lose, and if White ever regains his stellar form from West Virginia, the Birds just found themselves a young, dynamic deep threat for the foreseeable future.
