The Milwaukee Brewers had to let go of some talent this offseason to pay for stud outfielder Christian Yelich's contract extension. As is the case for any professional sports team, they will look to fill those voids with prospects, especially with their cheaper contracts. Luckily for the Brewers, they have the fifth-ranked farm system in the entire league. Here are three prospects Brewers fans should keep an eye on throughout the 2020 season.

3. LHP Ethan Small

Ethan Small had Tommy John Surgery back in 2017 while attending Mississippi State. While that is viewed as a huge negative, Small bounced back in 2019, where he averaged a ridiculous 14.8 strikeouts per nine innings. That led to the Brewers selecting him in the first round of this past year's MLB Draft. Even though he doesn't have high pitching speeds, he makes up for it with a quality mix of fastballs, changeups and curveballs. Small is currently dominating the opposition in spring training. He'll no doubt be a youngster to keep an eye on this spring, summer and fall.

2. C Mario Feliciano

The Brewers lost All-Star catcher Yasmani Grandal to the Chicago White Sox in free agency. But fear not fans, you have your catcher of the future in Mario Feliciano. The 75th overall pick in the 2016 draft has something that many other prospects in the farm system don't: bat power. Just last season, Feliciano posted 19 homers and 81 RBI in Single-A and Double-A. On top of that, Feliciano has the athleticism to play defense behind home plate. He's got a bright future, no doubt about it.

1. SS/2B Brice Turang

To the surprise of no one, Brice Turang tops off the Brewers' prospect list. Turang, a 2018 first-round pick by Milwaukee, isn't a power hitter, but he makes up for it with contact. He can reach bases, and use his speed to accumulate steals. Oh, and he's got a quality glove in the infield. The 20-year-old infielder is with the big-league club this spring, earning some great experience. Could he be in line for more time with the Brew Crew down the road? You better believe it.
