3 Reasons Auburn Fans Are Better Than Any Other Fanbase

Auburn fans have been through a hell of a lot in the last decade-plus, winning a National Championship with Cam Newton and knocking off Alabama thanks to the kick-six. Yet, being located in the same state as the Crimson Tide is tough, which is why Auburn fans relish every opportunity they can to embarrass Nick Saban and Co. It's part of what makes them great.

3. Their Confidence

Of course, the passion for your team is what makes any sports fan great, but man, Auburn fans are on another level when it comes to confidence. Who could forget when Toomer’s Corner was filled with fans prematurely celebrating a Final Four “win” against Virginia? Of course, Virginia would eventually win the championship but hey, you have to respect the confidence of fans to celebrate before the game’s actually over.

2. Their...Lack of Confidence?

I know what you’re thinking. How can Auburn fans be confident AND unconfident? Well, before prematurely celebrating in basketball this past year, they prematurely moped in football. The Tigers pulled off a crazy upset against Texas A&M but some fans left early after seeing they were down 24-14 with under five minutes left. We know you wanna beat traffic, guys, but those tickets were for the entire game!

1. This One Guy

I mean come on. This is a classic moment. Not only did the guy pour beer on himself before the end result, his friend (or whoever recorded him) thought it was a good idea to get it on camera for the world to see as well. You hate to see it, but Auburn fans, you're truly a treasure. Never change.
