3 Reasons the Warriors Are Going to Sweep the Raptors

The start of the NBA Finals is just two days away, and the Golden State Warriors are just four wins from securing their third straight title. As everyone likely expected, the Warriors are heavily favored over the Toronto Raptors. Although Kevin Durant has been ruled out for Game 1, there's still plenty of hope for the Warriors to pull off a sweep.

3. Ability to Control the Pace of the Game

The Warriors are without a doubt one of the most dangerous teams in transition, and once they accelerate the pace of play and hit their shots, it's pretty much over. If the Warriors can control the speed of the game and execute in transition, they'll have an easy time picking apart the Raptors defense, especially since Toronto is more of a half-court team.

2. Championship Experience

The Warriors are about to play in their fifth straight NBA Finals and their fourth title over that span. With the experience that the Warriors have as a team at this stage, it'll be tough for the Raptors to establish any kind of advantage outside of playing on their home court.

1. Ball Movement Without Durant

Without the help of Kevin Durant and big man Boogie Cousins, the Warriors have reverted back to their older style of play. This means going back to a speedy style of play that utilizes a "catch and shoot" mentality and has allowed Steph Curry to play a lot more comfortably (at least that's what it seems like). He's been on fire ever since Durant went down and is the unquestioned leader of this team. If he can drill his threes and the Dubs can get Klay good looks in the open court, Toronto will be done for.
