3 Times Kevin Durant Made a Complete Fool of Himself on Social Media
By Sean Facey

There's no better couple in the world than Kevin Durant and social media antics. The Brooklyn Nets superstar just has a knack for stirring the pot in front of his millions of followers, be it on Twitter or elsewhere.
We were graced with yet another one of these moments after he started beefing with former Oklahoma City Thunder teammate Kendrick Perkins on Thursday. So, in the spirit of drama, let's take a look back at three of the times Durant made a complete fool of himself on social media.
3. Beefing With Chris Broussard
I see a little exaggeration there buddy, my worst nightmare?? U sure that this is the worst that it can get???

During the playoffs last season, Durant's looming free agency and injuries were topics of great discussion, and analyst Chris Broussard said that if the Golden State Warriors won the NBA Finals without him, it would tarnish his legacy. Of course, Durant didn't take kindly to that, and in the midst of the playoffs, he actually took to Twitter to dispute the claim. Clearly, he was more focused on his reputation than encouraging his teammates.
2. Jabbing at CJ McCollum

Portland Trail Blazers star CJ McCollum found himself on the receiving end of Durant's wrath after he called KD's decision to leave the Thunder "soft" in the summer of 2018. Naturally, Durant took up arms and proceeded to make himself look bad by trying to pick a fight with a fellow player, who in all honesty was just stating his opinion on the matter. It certainly didn't reflect well on Durant or his ability to handle criticism.
1. The Burner Accounts
“Kevin Durant is the most sensitive player in the history of the NBA and he told the media to 'GROW UP'...

...This is a guy who had burner accounts to defend himself on Twitter!"

What would a chronicle of Durant's social media mishaps be without his infamous burner accounts? He made a fool out of himself after it was revealed he was using separate accounts to defend himself on Twitter following his departure from the Thunder. All it took was one defensive tweet that he mistakenly sent out from his main account for him to tarnish his social media reputation forever.
