The Philadelphia Phillies currently sit atop the NL East with a 24-17 record and a 3.5-game lead above the second placed Braves. The Phillies are living up to the hype that surrounded them in the preseason and certainly have plenty of talent on the big league roster, but there are still a handful of MLB-ready minor league prospects that are waiting in the wings for their opportunity. Here are three prospects Phillies and can expect to see at the big league level at some point this year.

1. OF Adam Haseley

Haseley was the Phillies first round draft choice in 2017. He's struggled thus far in Double-A, but the third ranked prospect in the organization is still on the fast-track to the big leagues. The lefty is viewed as one of the best all-around outfielders in the minor leagues, with a contact-first approach paired with nice pace and strong fielding ability. Haseley will likely get the call if there is an injury in the outfield or under-performances, and at the very least fans should anticipate a September call-up.

2. LHP Ranger Suarez

Ranger Suarez is currently sidelined with an injury, but that doesn't hurt his chances of a late-season promotion. The Phillies' No. 10 prospect has a four-pitch repertoire, with his changeup receiving the most praise throughout his work in the minors. This year, Suarez has logged a 5.64 ERA through 4 starts, striking out 21 batters across 22.1 innings pitched.

3. LHP JoJo Romero

Romero is the top ranked lefty starter and the No. 7 ranked prospect overall in the Phillies' system. He may not have the flashy stuff or the high-upside potential as some of the other pitching prospects in the minors, but he profiles as a pretty safe bet to be a back-end rotation type starter. Romero has five pitches under his arsenal, with his fastball and changeup being recognized as his strongest pitches.
