2020 looks to be another rebuilding year for the Detroit Tigers, but that doesn't mean it's going to be entirely worthless. There are plenty of prospects from their farm system that could crack the big league roster. But of all of the talent that could see MLB action, these three prospects are the ones who will definitely make it this year.

3. RHP Matt Manning

Manning, the No. 2 prospect in Detroit's pipeline and the No. 24 prospect in all of baseball, dazzled in Double-A last year. He posted a 2.53 ERA across 24 starts and managed a minuscule 0.98 WHIP to match. Considering the Tigers have few reliable starters outside of Matt Boyd and he has more experience in the upper levels of the minors than his top prospect counterpart in Casey Mize, it seems like a near certainty that Manning will be on the rubber at some point in 2020 to help pitch his team to a win.

2. INF Isaac Paredes

In the midst of a pitcher-heavy rebuild, Paredes stands out as one of the few star prospects that the Tigers have who can play the field. An infielder by trade, he spent all of last season in Double-A, slugging 13 home runs and posting a respectable .784 OPS across 552 plate appearances. Considering the lack of offensive depth in Detroit's infield heading into the season, he's a near lock to find his way up to the majors at some point in 2020.

1. LHP Tarik Skubal

Skubal has the makings of a superstar that could be an impact player upon arrival in Detroit. After posting a 2.53 ERA in High-A to start the 2019 season, he did even better at the next level, striking out 82 batters in just nine starts in Double-A. He flashed his potential in the Tigers' first Spring Training game of the year, fanning five of the six batters he faced. There's simply nothing not to like about the 23-year-old southpaw, and he'll certainly be gracing the fans in the Motor City with his dominance sooner rather than later this year.
