3 Undrafted Rookies That Could Actually Make the Packers

Green Bay stockpiled picks in an attempt to get Aaron Rodgers more help, and the returns on the first few days of the draft look extremely promising. With two instant starters on defense in Rashan Gary and Darnell Savage in Round 1 as well as a new center and No. 2 tight end in Elgton Jenkins and Jace Sternberger, respectively, the Packers made out alright. They also have one of the deepest undrafted free agent classes, with several studs that could make the 53-man roster.

3. Arizona State QB Manny Wilkins

The QB3 role is still wide open in Green Bay, and DeShone Kizer has anything but a vice grip on the backup job, which gives Wilkins a chance to secure a spot in Green Bay. His accuracy isn't great and he's a little on the skinny side, but Wilkins can make all the throws and has enough playmaking ability to serve as a serviceable practice squad quarterback.

2. Virginia Tech OT Yosuah Nijman

Nijman got a combine invite, but fell down draft boards once people saw how he struggled against the best rushers in the ACC. While Nijman has a lot of technical issues that need to be cleaned up, the raw power is there and the anchor ability in pass protection rally stands out. With the Packers in need of some offensive line depth, the former Hokie could make it as a backup left tackle.

1. Baylor EDGE Greg Roberts

Oklahoma State v Baylor
Oklahoma State v Baylor / Tom Pennington

With a $65,000 base salary, Roberts is the UDFA most likely to stick. A classic two-way defensive end who can stuff the run, the 260 pound Roberts flashed signs of an improving pass rush game. While he isn't the most explosive player, someone with a low floor like him always has a good shot at sticking on a practice squad.
