The NBA season is fresh and young as players get accustomed to new surroundings and start the 82-game journey. Some players look poised for breakout years, and with the amount of young talent in the league, it wouldn't be surprising to see a handful of first-time All-Stars. Here are four guys who could get voted in for the first time in their career.

4. Pascal Siakam

Siakam broke out in a big way for the championship-winning Raptors last year, and he's now set to carry the load for them with Kawhi Leonard out of town. He's out to prove he's no flash in the pan, and he could easily make the All-Star team in the East with a productive first half.

3. Devin Booker

Devin Booker is one of the brightest young players in the league, yet after back-to-back seasons of averaging 24.9 and 26.6 points respectively, he's still never been given the nod as an All-Star. While he's played on some lackluster Suns teams, and seems likely to endure the same fate this year, there's a shot he finally gets that All-Star recognition he deserves.

2. Luka Doncic

Doncic was very nearly an All-Star as a rookie last season, and with an improved Mavericks squad around him, he is poised to make the leap this year. The 20-year-old is capable of playing at multiple positions and can contribute in just about every facet of the game. He dropped 34 points in the season opener, and followed it up with a triple-double in his second game of the year.

1. Trae Young

The second-year point guard had a tremendous second half last year, and now he's looking to put together a productive full season. As a sophomore in the league, Young will be the offensive leader in Atlanta, and with his passing ability he's a double-double threat every night out. He only hit 32.4% of his 3's last year, but if he can see that number rise, he may find himself on the All-Star team.
