By Sam Dunn

What's going on in Knoxville right now? Whether it's the phases of the moon, chemical additives in the local water supply, or just so hard-nosed and relentless work from Jeremy Pruitt and his staff, there's something of a recruiting revolution taking place in Tennessee Volunteers football.
On Saturday, 4-star defensive tackle prospect KaTron Evans announced his commitment to the Vols as part of the class of 2021.

Believe it or not, Evans is the ninth player to commit to Big Orange in the last two weeks alone.
A Baltimore native, Evans has serious size at 6-foot-4 and 320 pounds. A top-200 player nationally according to the 247Sports composite rankings, he's rated as the No. 9 defensive tackle overall in the class of 2021.

The SEC is an unforgiving place, and the Vols have had their work cut out for them in trying to catch up to Georgia and Florida in the East Division. But in short order, Pruitt and Co. have impressed over and over again on the recruiting trail, and nobody can afford to ignore them any longer.
