It's very rare that a team wins four games against Top 10 programs, becomes the No. 1 team in the country by a wide margin, and LOSES top recruits, but here we are.

Yup, 4-star defensive tackle Jalen Lee, long thought to be as hard an LSU commit as humanly possible, has officially decommitted and reopened his recruiting process.

Lee was recruited hard by Georgia, and they figure to be at the forefront of securing his services. While Alabama and Florida are also hot on his tail, Ole Miss and Oklahoma are lurking in the weeds.

Lee is a 6-4, 280-pound defensive tackle from Live Oak HS in Watson, La. His calling card is his ability to get to the quarterback with ease as a traditional 1 tech lineman or as a 3 tech that can pulverize guards.

Even if he doesn't go to LSU, Lee will have his pick of top SEC schools to choose from. It may not be in Baton Rouge, but Lee has the potential to become an immediate contributor wherever he lands next season.
