LSU has been riding high since the start of the 2019 college football season. A Heisman Tropy for Joe Burrow, going 15-0 and winning both the SEC and National Championship, and producing plenty of first-round draft picks is a great way to build up an already great program back to its elite status.

Everyone in the college football world knows how great Ed Orgeron is as both a coach and a recruiter. With his recruiting prowess and the help of running backs coach and former LSU stud Kevin Faulk, the Tigers landed another top-flight prospect in the class of 2021.

Corey Kiner out of Roger Bacon High School in Cincinnati, Ohio is listed as one of the best backs in the country in his class. From his perspective, he's taking the opportunity to play at a program that has produced NFL talents such as Leonard Fournette, Derrius Guice and most recently 2019 first-round pick Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

As for Faulk, he was the Director of Player Development for the Tigers in the 2018 and 2019 seasons. In February of 2020, Orgeron promoted Faulk to the team's running backs coach. He will now get the chance to work with Kiner directly as his first ever commit.

Faulk played 13 seasons in the NFL with the New England Patriots and won three Super Bowls throughout his stellar career. Now in this new chapter, Kiner could help start of the rise of Faulk as a respected running backs coach in college football.
