49ers get positive injury update on Deebo Samuel

Plenty of people were worried sick on Sunday when star San Francisco 49ers wideout Deebo Samuel went down with a serious-looking injury against the Bucs. Samuel was in so much pain, he had to be carted off the field.
He was in tears. People thought Samuel had potentially suffered a season-ending injury. Luckily, that's not the case, as the expectation right now is that Samuel suffered a high-ankle sprain.
#49ers HC Kyle Shanahan said WR Deebo Samuel "most likely" suffered a high-ankle sprain. Typically keeps players out a few weeks, but much better news that what it initially looked like. He’s undergoing more tests.

With this injury, Samuel will miss potentially around a month, but the good news is that he could be ready for the start of the playoffs. This may be bad news for your fantasy football squads, but Samuel hasn't played his last down for SF this campaign. We'll see if he can indeed get back on the field for when the playoffs arrive.
