VIDEO: 49ers RB Tevin Coleman Exits NFC Championship Game With Nasty-Looking Arm Injury
The San Francisco 49ers got off to a hot start against the Green Bay Packers, jumping out to a 17-0 lead, but the team will have to finish the game without their full complement of 'backs. Stud running back Tevin Coleman suffered a brutal injury to his arm while trying to steady himself early in the second quarter, and had to be carted off the field.
Despite the fact that his legs weren't involved in the collision, Coleman was still in so much pain that the trainers had to bring the cart out to get him off the field. That level of pain means something is seriously wrong, suggesting a dislocation.
The team, however, is calling it a shoulder injury.
Hopefully, for Coleman, the rehabilitation process won't take him out of a potential Super Bowl berth.
