49ers CB Richard Sherman Reignites Beef With Darrelle Revis on Twitter and We Want More
By Jerry Trotta
With no live sports amid the coronavirus crisis, various Twitter accounts have had no other choice but to post old highlight clips to keep their followers entertained.
On Tuesday, popular football account, "Receiver School," tweeted out an impressive catch and run by Indianapolis Colts wide receiver TY Hilton, who made former New York Jets star cornerback Darrelle Revis look silly.
Well, one of the Revis' longtime rivals -- San Francisco 49ers CB Richard Sherman -- wasted no time roasting the former seven-time Pro Bowler.
Inject this content right into our veins, please. Sherman's knack for speaking out of turn often gets on people's nerves, but we are absolutely here for it this time around.
The beef between the two NFL stars was revived in January when Sherman clapped back at Revis, who slammed him on Twitter for "hiding in a cover 3 zone," in the NFC Championship Game against the Green Bay Packers. Revis' post has since been deleted but Sherman's receipt from the interaction is still very much alive.
All that's left to do now is wait for a reply from "Revis Island." Give the people what they want!
