49ers stay busy and sign DT Maurice Hurst
By Braulio Perez
The San Francisco 49ers have been quite busy this week adding playmakers to the offensive line. On Thursday, it was announced that the team had reached a new deal with former Las Vegas Raiders defensive tackle Maurice Hurst.
This came after the team had previously agreed to a new contract with defensive end Arden Key. John Lynch is working overtime leading up to the NFL Draft folks.
Hurst, who spent the previous three seasons with the Raiders, checks in at 6-2, 290 pounds. Last campaign, he posted 27 tackes and 0.5 sacks. While he's not known for being a superstar, he's clearly fired up to get to the Bay Area and make some plays for his new team.
