49ers Trading Back to Draft Javon Kinlaw Was a Brilliant Move
By Michael Luciano

South Carolina defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw did not need to wait long to hear his name called in the 2020 NFL Draft, as John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan snapped up the former star Gamecock.
After trading with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the 49ers picked Kinlaw with the 14th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft with a pick they acquired from the Indianapolis Colts.

Kinlaw might weight 324 pounds, but he plays like a tackle that weighs 25 pounds less. Kinlaw is one of the best linemen in this draft when it comes to generating interior pressure. If needed, Kinlaw can eat up some space in the running game.
Kinlaw joins a stacked defensive line that already features Nick Bosa, Dee Ford, and Arik Armstead in San Francisco.

Kinlaw should be an instant starter now that DeForest Buckner is in Indianapolis, as the Senior Bowl star is a guy that could help San Francisco get back to the Super Bowl.
