Two big-name quarterbacks will face off on Saturday as Jimmy Garoppolo and the San Francisco 49ers take on reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. With Andy Reid expected to get his starters onto the field for some reps, it'll be interesting to see how the Chiefs' offense functions.

Garoppolo has looked awful in the preseason after missing much of the 2018 campaign with a torn ACL, suffered in a game against the Chiefs. The Niners are surely hoping that their quarterback is just showing rust and nothing more, especially given the contract he was handed last offseason.

The game will be televised on regionally on KPIX in the San Francisco area and on KCTV in the Kansas City market.

Internal and external expectations for Mahomes are through the roof. The Chiefs will no doubt hope that their third-year gunslinger is able to lead the team to a Super Bowl appearance after narrowly missing out last year.
