There's nothing worse than injuries early on in the season and some adversity has certainly arrived for San Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell. The youngster went down with a knee injury in Week 1 against Chicago.
Now, we know that Mitchell will be out for about two months. That's brutal news for him and SF will now have to look elsewhere for production on the ground.

Expect more carries for Deebo Samuel, though he did record a fumble in the Week 1 loss to the Bears. Samuel will need to step his game up now that Mitchell is going to be sidelined for a little while.
