Nation's No. 1 Recruit for 2021 Announces Commitment to Clemson Over Georgia, Alabama and Others
Though Clemson may not have taken home the College Football Playoff National Championship two weeks ago, they're already well on their way to making plenty of noise in 2021. After landing three commitments for the '21 class over the weekend, the Tigers added another MAJOR one on Sunday night.
Ranked a 5-star defensive end and the No. 1 recruit in the country, highly-touted prospect Korey Foreman announced he has committed to Dabo Swinney and the Tigers.
A 6-4, 265-pounder, Foreman had scholarship offers from every major powerhouse in the land. He picked Clemson over Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, LSU, Penn State, Oklahoma and many others.
He was on the Clemson campus on Saturday for another visit with the coaching staff. He first took a visit to meet with Swinney over the summer, instantly making the Tigers a favorite in his recruitment. Now, they've managed to take things to the next level.
Clemson now holds nine verbal pledges for 2021. What a start for the coaches out on the recruiting trail.
