At the All-American bowl stage in Texas, Georgia just received great recruiting news, riding a wave of recent success (including a Sugar Bowl win) into the offseason.
The Dawgs secondary is already returning the likes of Richard LeCounte, and now they'll receive the boost of solid incoming talent. 5-star CB Kelee Ringo has signed with the Bulldogs.

Ringo immediately becomes the top-rated signee in Georgia's class, which comes just days after landing 5-star tight end Darnell Washington. Ringo, the top-rated player in the state of Arizona, feels comfortable leaving home and heading to Athens.
“Feel comfortable where I am going,” Ringo said. “I feel like I want to live there for the next three or four years. Just built a great relationship with [coaches] and also my everyday life outside of football is a big factor as well.”

Should Jake Fromm choose to return to school rather than take his talents to the NFL, Georgia could very well open next season as SEC favorites.
Spring Practice is months away, but the offseason is off to a good start in Athens.
