5-star Malaki Starks adds to amazing 2022 start for Georgia

The Georgia Bulldogs continue to absolutely crush it out on the recruiting trail. Seriously, Kirby Smart and his coaches can't be stopped when it comes to landing superstar players. This was the case once again earlier this week with 5-star athlete Malaki Starks announcing his verbal.

With Starks now on board, Georgia has nine pledges for '22. They're slotted at No. 2 in the country per the 247Sports rankings and hold the No. 1 class in the SEC. Oh, and these guys are just getting started.

Starks is the third 5-star recruit to commit to Georgia for the 2022 class alone. He's joined by fellow 5-stars, quarterback Gunner Stockton and athlete Deyon Boyie. Even more impressive, all those kids are in-state products. Smart always wants to keep the best players from Georgia home and he's done that with these three players.

With the calendar reading late March, you know Smart and Co. are going to keep crushing it with recording leading up to the Early Signing Period in December. Life sure is good in Athens.
