5-Star OT Broderick Jones Reportedly Cancels Auburn Visit After Meeting With Kirby Smart on Friday
Things in recruiting can change in a flash. Just look at how things have gone for 5-star offensive tackle Broderick Jones.
Everyone thought the unsigned Georgia commit would be taking his last official visit to Auburn this weekend. However, in a flash, that is no longer the case. Per a report, Jones will NOT be making it to the Tigers' campus for his OV. Yup, he's once again fully locked in with UGA.
This will take away all the anxiety Bulldogs fans had at the thought of Jones potentially flipping from the Bulldogs to the Tigers. Give major credit to Kirby Smart and his staff here.
They continued to make Jones a priority from the start. This was showcased on Friday night, as Smart paid Jones an in-home visit and reportedly stayed until 11:59 p.m., thus not violating any NCAA rules. He was there till the very last minute to let Jones know he wants him in a Bulldogs uniform.
Rest easy, Georgia fans. Jones will sign with the Bulldogs on Wednesday and get ready to be the next great hoss to come out of Athens.
