Five-star running back Zach Evans stunned the college football landscape earlier this week when it was revealed that he would be backing out of his commitment with the Georgia Bulldogs.
The decision left countless pundits pondering where 2020's No.1 overall RB recruit would be taking his talents. Well, according to a telling detail on Evans' facebook page, it would appear that a middling SEC program is the frontrunner to land his services.
Evans claims to be studying at Texas A&M.
If that wasn't enough to convince you, all of the recent buzz suggests that the Houston, Texas native will declare his intentions to sign with the Aggies. He had signed with UGA, but they released him from his NLI. From the Bulldogs to the Aggies?
Got word Georgia is likely to release Zach Evans from his LOI (maybe not the exact wording, but you get the idea) -- they never filed it. The people I have talked to now expect him to end up at Texas A&M, probably shortly.
