The Early Signing Period has turned college football recruiting on its head, but the best coaches adjusted on the fly and now use it to their advantage. For the non-traditional powers, it allots them a chance to compete with the likes of Georgia, Ohio State, Alabama and LSU by giving recruits less time to mull over other offers, instead adding them to the scholarship count at an earlier date than previously allowed.

With that in mind, there are still several undecided 5- and 4-star recruits ready to surprise us all on Dec. 18.

5. RB Zachary Evans

Evans is the top-ranked running back in this class, and for good reason. The 5-11, 200-pound bell-cow has great field vision for his age, and should make a fine heir-apparent to Clyde Edwards-Helaire in LSU, should he choose that route. Evans has been enamored with Ed Orgeron and the Tigers for some time now, but the Texas native has yet to make an official decision for a reason. Look for LSU to try and hammer down Evans' commitment in the coming weeks.

4. ATH Darnell Washington

Washington is the 10th-ranked prospect in the country, per 247sports, and is more than likely headed to Georgia. Yet, the future is clouded for this 5-star ATH, as there are several schools still in the running for his services. The Vegas native recently took visits to Alabama and Florida, so there's a chance he might not commit by the Early Signing Period.

3. LB Kelee Ringo

Ringo is the best player in Arizona, but isn't drawn to either Arizona or ASU. Rather, Ringo is favored to lead Georgia's 2020 recruiting class. UGA as a program has fielded some very solid linebackers in recent years, including Roquan Smith and Lorenzo Carter. If Texas can't sway him in the final weeks, expect Ringo to be a Bulldog.

2. LB Justin Flowe

Flowe, a 5-star talent and one of the top linebackers in the 2020 class, is favoring Clemson. However, the California native insists USC is still in the running for his services. The allure of restoring USC as a Pac-12 power is real, but Dabo Swinney is persistent in adding Flowe to cap off an elite recruiting class.

1. DE Jordan Burch

Jordan Burch has drawn some comparisons to the likes of Chase Young, but he's probably not heading to Columbus. Instead, Burch favors Clemson, per 247sports, and could be another in a long line of 5-star defensive ends to thrive under Dabo Swinney. South Carolina is also in the mix for this in-state recruit.
