7 Best Performances of Steph Curry's Postseason Career With Warriors

With Kevin Durant sidelined since Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals, the keys to the car were back with Steph Curry, and he has absolutely dominated. Curry has been the leader of the Warriors' unstoppable run, reminding everyone just how good he is. He had taken somewhat of a back seat since KD arrived, but as the heart and soul of the Warriors, he has given us plenty of unforgettable playoff games. Here are seven of his best postseason performances.
7. 2017 WCF Game 1 vs. Spurs
This was Durant's first year with the team and the Warriors ran through the playoffs, losing just one game in the entire postseason. They faced little resistance in the West until the first game of the Western Conference Finals. The Spurs had built a 23-point lead before the Warriors came storming back. Curry dropped 40 points along a with a clutch floater at the end to put the Warriors up three with less than 10 seconds to play.
6. 2016 NBA Finals Game 4 vs. Cavaliers
Coming off a historic 73-9 season and a seven-game battle with the Thunder, the Warriors were going head-to-head with the Cavaliers. With a 2-1 lead going into Game 4, Curry took control, scoring 38 points with six assists to give the Warriors a commanding 3-1 lead. Unfortunately we all know what came next, but it was spectacular performance nonetheless.
5. 2015 Round 1 Game 3 vs. Pelicans
This was one of Curry's first major moments on the big stage. In the beginning of their 2015 title run, the Warriors had taken a 2-0 lead against the Pelicans. New Orleans had the led for most of the game, but Curry ruined their night as he hit two clutch threes in the end to force overtime, where the Warriors ended up winning the game. Curry finished the game with 40 points, 9 assists and an unforgettable moment.
4. 2016 WCSF Game 4 vs. Trail Blazers
After having the best regular season of his career, Curry injured his leg in the first round of the playoffs. He wasn't out for long as he returned to action in Game 4 against the Trail Blazers. In his comeback game, Curry made a statement, dropping 40 points to give the Warriors a 3-1 series lead.
3. 2015 NBA Finals Game 5 vs. Cavaliers
During their first championship run, Curry and the Warriors went up against a beaten-up Cavs team that was missing Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. However, LeBron James played out of his mind and through four games the series was tied. In a crucial Game 5, Curry dropped 37 points with seven rebounds to secure the win.
2. 2019 WCSF Game 6 vs. Rockets
This one you don't really need to dig through the memory bank to remember because it happened a few weeks ago. After a clutch closing performance to win Game 5 against the Rockets without Kevin Durant, Curry stepped up once again to shut the door on Houston. After laying an egg in the first half, Curry dropped 33 points in the second half and destroyed one of the Rockets' best chances at a title.

After falling into a 3-1 hole in the Western Conference Finals to the Thunder, the Warriors came storming back to tie the series up. In a do-or-die Game 7, Curry performed when it mattered most. He dropped 38 points with 8 assists to put an end to the Durant era in OKC.
