This NBA offseason has been one of the craziest we've seen in quite some time. From Kawhi Leonard and Paul George teaming up in Los Angeles with the Clippers, to Kevin Durant heading east to join forces with Kyrie Irving in Brooklyn, there was no shortage of intriguing moves.

But it seems like the Philadelphia 76ers have gotten lost in the shuffle amidst all the movement. They've made a number of moves that should place them as one of the favorites in the Eastern Conference in 2019.

Not only did the Sixers improve their roster with the signing of Al Horford, they were also able to trade away Jimmy Butler for Miami's Josh Richardson, who, like Butler, is a capable defender with the ability to hit some big shots.

Aside from their roster moves, it also seems like many teams in the conference got worse. The Boston Celtics lost both Kyrie Irving and Al Horford, and while Kemba Walker may be an adequate replacement for Irving, Enes Kanter is a clear downgrade from Horford at the five.

The defending conference champion Toronto Raptors lost their golden child Kawhi Leonard and seem hopeless without him. And the Milwaukee Bucks lost two of their key role players in Malcolm Brogdon and Nikola Mirotic.

The conference is their for taking and the Sixers certainly have the talent to make it happen. There are some definite injury concerns regarding Joel Embiid, but having a versatile player like Horford who can play both the four and the five should help the team if Embiid misses any time.

Philly matches up with every team in the East, and with how different the conference's landscape is heading into this season, there's no reason the Sixers can't put it together en route to an appearance in The Finals.
