VIDEO: 76ers Fans Boo Jimmy Butler in His Return to Philadelphia

Philly fans are savage. In now-Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler's return to Philadelphia, 76ers fans let him hear it. No, they were not grateful for Butler's half-year of service. Rather, they were upset with...something. Butler was booed on nearly every touch of the basketball.

Okay, but why? Just because you have the right to boo doesn't make it the correct decision.
Butler and the Sixers were just a game away from the Eastern Conference Finals last season. The former Marquette star played a role in that, serving as a scorer on the wing, ball-handler when called upon and a closer whenever Philly needed a big bucket. What's there not to like?
My thoughts re: booing Jimmy Butler: boo literally everyone on either team whenever you want. Booing is in our blood. Booing is second nature. Booing works. Booing is our god-given right.

Butler left, giving Philly fans the right to be upset. But months later, the 76ers picked up Al Horford and Josh Richardson. They kept Tobias Harris. The team is arguably better at this point.
Philly fans gonna Philly fans, I guess.
