The series opener between the Oakland Athletics and Chicago Cubs featured some late-inning dramatics as the Cubs came out on top 6-5. Fans are hoping for more of the same on Tuesday night.

Former Cub Brett Anderson will square off against his old employer. Anderson is 9-7 with a 4.04 ERA in 127 innings. In 17.1 innings at Wrigley Field, Anderson has allowed 20 runs and 35 hits, which bodes well for Chicago.

Another pitcher facing his former team will take the mound for the Cubs. Jon Lester is 9-7 with a 3.86 ERA in 119 innings. He has a 3.39 ERA in six starts against American League teams this season as well.
The Athletics sit just half-game behind the Rays for the second wild card spot, while the Cubs are looking to extend their 2.5-game lead over the St. Louis Cardinals in the NL Central.
