Aaron Boone Provides Positive Injury Update on Giancarlo Stanton
By Jared Kish

After suffering a setback last week while rehabbing down in Tampa, Giancarlo Stanton looks like he's slowly back on track.
New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone provided an update on the slugger, who is expected to get back to baseball activities soon.

Stanton hasn't seen action in the bigs since March 31 when he suffered a bicep injury. He then dealt with a shoulder strain shortly after. Last week, Stanton was scratched from a start in Single-A Tampa after being hit by a pitch in batting practice, which led to left calf tightness.

But the Bronx Bombers haven't missed a beat without Stanton as outfielders Clint Frazier and Cameron Maybin have proven to be productive.
Even though the Yankees' offense has found ways to score runs and hit homers without Stanton in the lineup, we're sure fans are glad to see the outfielder making progress. Once he's back in the lineup, we'll be seeing even more bombs flying over the fence.
