Aaron Boone Reveals Return Dates for Dellin Betances and Giancarlo Stanton
By Parker White

This week, just like many throughout the season for the New York Yankees, has been littered with news of players going down due to injury.
There was a more positive spin on Saturday, however, as manager Aaron Boone said reliever Dellin Betances is flying to Toronto and will be activated prior to Sunday's game.

During his rehab assignment, Betances allowed one run in three innings of work, which included two walks and four strikeouts. With the postseason right around the corner, expect Betances to be thrust into high-leverage situations to prepare him for October baseball.
On top of the good Betances update, Boone also announced Giancarlo Stanton is expected to return during the Yankees' next homestand, which begins Sept. 16.
Aaron Boone says he expects Giancarlo Stanton to be an everyday player when he rejoins the team, which is expected for Yankees’ next home stand, starting Sep 16.

Stanton has been out since late June with a strained right knee, but he's been ramping up his activity down in Tampa, which included a simulated game on Friday where he played four innings in the outfield.
Don't look now, but the Bombers are getting healthy at the exact right time.
