The New York Yankees have been plagued with injuries this season, but it appears two of foremost stars, Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge, will finally be back in the lineup next week.
Manager Aaron Boone recently appeared on WFAN radio to clear up some of the speculation surrounding Judge and Stanton's returns, indicating that the latter is the closer of the two to getting activated.
#Yankees manager Aaron Boone told @MikeFrancesa earlier today that both Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton are close to returning to the team.

Judge will be joining Stanton with the Triple-A Scranton-Wilkes Barre Rail Riders this weekend as they both prepare to make their returns as soon as next week. Stanton could be activated by Tuesday.
Judge, who is battling back from a oblique strain, has only appeared in 20 games this season and hasn't been in the Yankees lineup since mid-April. Stanton has recorded just 8 at-bats all season long. The Bronx Bombers have managed to hold the AL East division lead despite their absences, but they'll surely be ecstatic to have a couple of heavy bats back in the fold.
Aaron Judge likely will have a longer stint at Triple-A once that comes. Boone reiterated today that stint could start this weekend. Judge has faced live pitching the past two days in Tampa. He also has hit off the high-velocity pitching machine down there.

Their returns couldn't be coming at a better time for the Yankees, who are set to face the AL East rival Tampa Bay Rays in a key series starting next week, as well as the Houston Astros, who hold the best record in baseball.
